I needed a big coaster for my mug tea or coffee next to my computer. It is not a perfect round circle. Well actually it is a kind of try out or as we say in dutch: een broddellap.
I first dyed the fabric and than drew the design with pencil onto the fabric and filled it in with different kind of stitches from the stitching bible. I it is not the best piece I made but it does do the job.

Dank je wel voor je reactie op mijn blog! Echt leuk. Dus was ik natuurlijk nieuwsgierig naar die van jou. Ver weg, maar toch makkelijk in het Nederlands te reageren.Een jaar of 12 geleden waren mijn man, zijn 2 zussen en ik in Rio! Hebben toen een prachtige, onvergetelijke reis gemaakt. Ik kan je geen zonnige groet terugsturen, want het is hier koud en regenachtig. Maar toch een warme groet van mij!

Ik ben gelijk hier komen neuzen en amai u leest veel boeken, luk ség. Ik probeer het hier ook, maar valt me op dat het in de zomer in de tuin veel leuker lezen is, of in een goed warm badje , enkel dat laatste moet hier nog komen, we moeten onze badkamer nog verbouwen.
